I'm a big JRPG fan and I've never really understood what people like so much about Kingdom Hearts. I want to like it because design wise it reminds me of Final Fantasy, especially some of the characters. But the story just doesn't really do anything for me. You're just visiting all these Disney worlds and solving their issues, I guess.

Nah, I couldn't think of a better place to share this than on a Last of Us 3 thread. It's on my list and it's an unannounced game itself, Last of Us 3 hasn't been announced so it's not like we're not all thinking forward.

Plus it's the Last of US 3, my biggest franchise, only the Final Fantasy 7 Remake is ahead of it right now.

I was hoping that by sharing this I would find people will similar interests, since I assume we'r...

@ClayRules2012

My point isn't so much about Abby or Lev. Though I can see Abby being in it since she's probably working with the fireflies now. Remember her dad was a doctor for the fireflies and she was on her way to regroup with them before she was ambushed. I just hope her role in the game is small.

My real point is that Ellie "is" The Last of Us... Without her there's no point in making the game. That's why I think Foxtrot&#...

Me being a Playstation guy and a huge JRPG fan, I can say that the only franchises I actually miss that are on Switch are The Fire Emblem series and The Xenoblade Chronicles series. I've played neither but I've heard good things. I've seen people play Xenoblade Chronicles games on youtube, and it seems like they think it's a big deal so I'm curious.

Sounds about right for this pile of crud game. I mean just look at the graphics. Some developers aren't even trying.

I agree, I mean what else can be left? How it happens exactly remains to be seen but I'm pretty It's all coming down to whether Ellie dies or doesn't die. It would make sense if she has a reason to live, making her decision that much harder.

You're crazy... Abby and Lev yeah. But Ellie? She's is The Last of Us. If you're going to remove her, then why even bother making the game.

@shinoff2183

LOL, I thought maybe you were getting confused with Crisis Core Reunion. Since you said PSP remaster

At first I wasn't that interested in FF16 either but I started to warm up to it. That last trailer that had all the summons fighting looked pretty cool. Then I started to wonder who is Shiva's dominant, and I heard it's probably Jill Warrick, her and Clive Rosfield are probably the main characters, and Joshua Rosfield also, he'...

I doubt Star Ocean: The Divine Force will bomb. It already looks way better than the previous one called Integrity and Faithlessness or whatever. And it's getting way more attention also.

We are very late, I'm waiting for:

Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie
Legend of Heroes: Kuro no kiseki
Legend of Heroes: Kuro no kiseki II

We're also getting localized remasters of older games like Trails from Zero(which comes out next week), Trails to Azure, and Nayuta Boundless Trails.

Hey, you're the same guy who also likes Legend of Heroes huh. I saw your comment on that other thread.

But seriously, you like The last of us also? It's another one of my favorite franchises. I didn't care much for the latest remaster since I had already beat the original, and after the The Last of Us Part 2, playing The Last of Us Part 1 again would just make me depressed to be honest.

I thought it was pretty fun, but it's true the budget is nothing like FF7 Remake or FF16, it seems they're putting everything, all their AAA treatment into those games. A long the way they're releasing a slew of smaller budget games, like Diofield Chronicle, Valkyrie Elysium, Harvestella, Octopath Traveler 2, Various Daylife, and the list goes on and on.

I really liked the demo, I already pre-ordered the game. The moving around the land is pretty fast, the combat is fast and fun. I didn't really understand it yet, but it was fun. All I understood with the D.U.M.A, is that you can launch yourself at enemies. The combat is real time and you have AP, so when you run out of AP you just roll out of danger till you get AP back.

The exploring is pretty fun also, you can reach high places by launching yourself up with the D.U.M...

I still remember even thought it was like over 20 years ago. I got the Leave ending.

Silent Hill 2 is my 2nd favorite game of all time, behind only Final Fantasy X.

I would like to see a total Reboot, that means leaving the Redfields, the Kennedys, and the Valentines behind also. I mean where else can they go with this story? The characters are 50 years old and the story has gone totally off the rails. I'd like a reboot that goes back to it's zombie roots, like a new zombie outbreak in a totally new city or town, with totally new characters.

@Shinofff2183

Yeah, I agree. I'm not sure why anyone would disagree with you. But that's just how N4G is.

At first I would get a little bit impatient with Trails of Cold Steel myself, having to go on all those field studies and reading all the talking they did, it was almost too detailed. But eventually I got used to it and it was worth it because by the end I was that much more involved in the story. These days I'm totally into JRPG's and...

If Final Fantasy is my favorite JRPG franchise then Legend of Heroes: Trails is my 2nd favorite. Severely underrated series... It has it's fans but it should be a bigger deal if you ask me.

7 million ain't bad but it should be even more.

It might sound silly considering games like God of War Ragnarok are coming out this year, but this is probably my most anticipated game of 2022.

Why? Because the Final Fantasy 7 Remake has become my favorite series right now and this is a prequel to it. I've never played it, so it's a totally new game to me. It has Cloud, Aerith, and Sephiroth with the same character models as the remake. Storywise, this is easily my most important game releasing in 2022.
